It feels a bit pricey for what it is, though it’s still usable. I’m guessing maybe the costs have gone up or they’re charging more because people will still pay it, but I’m not sure.

The drivers have been really nice and easy to deal with, which I appreciate. The service itself could definitely be a bit better, but overall it’s been okay

Got on the bus this morning and the first thing I noticed was how clean it felt. The seats were tidy, there wasn’t any rubbish lying around, and it just made the ride feel a bit more comfortable. Nice to see it kept in good shape.

I had a really good trip with First Bus today. I wasn’t totally sure where I needed to get off, but the driver actually knew the route really well and let me know the stop before mine, plus where to walk from there.

They did reply in the end, but it took longer than I expected. Maybe I was just being impatient because I needed an answer quickly, but it definitely didn’t feel very fast.

I use First Bus to get to work most days it’s usually decent. The frequency is generally good, but the evenings can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes there’s a random gap and suddenly I’m standing there like I’ve been abandoned by society. I used First Bus a few times this week with my little one in the pram, it was totally fine. The pram/wheelchair space was free each time, and the driver didn’t rush me while I got on, which made a big difference.
One of the buses was busy, but people shuffled around without making it awkward or anything. It just makes getting into town feel a lot less stressful, really. Such a simple thing, but when you’ve got a pram, it matters a lot

Overall, I had a good experience with the wheelchair access here. The staff were helpful and seemed to know what they were doing, which I appreciated. The only thing I noticed was that the ramp can be a little slow to come out sometimes — not a huge deal, but when you’re waiting there, you definitely notice the extra few seconds. Still, it worked fine and made things easier.

Activated fine. No issue there. But the bus scanner took a few tries. Kinda annoying.
